The Challenge
We were invited to create a powerful content piece featuring Costa, one of Argentina’s most beloved performers, as she shared her personal journey with obesity. From the age of 16, Costa faced physical and emotional challenges—climbing stairs, tying her shoes, changing clothes—tasks that many take for granted. The challenge was to transform her story into a cinematic narrative capable of driving awareness and empathy, without falling into clichés or stigma. We needed to honor her truth while inspiring a national conversation about obesity and healthy living.
Our Goals
Our objectives were clear: • Raise awareness through Costa’s authentic testimony • Tell a real, relatable story that audiences could emotionally connect with • Highlight the importance of healthy lifestyle changes • Deliver high-quality content with cinematic impact and social relevance • Create a scalable framework for additional episodes and formats
The Creative Approach
We chose an intimate, confessional tone anchored in Costa’s raw honesty. The narrative juxtaposed her present-day success—performing on stage, embracing her identity—with memories of her younger self facing daily obstacles. We filmed her first-ever theater performance dedicated to this theme, capturing emotion, humor, vulnerability, and empowerment. The visual language emphasized closeness: slow camera movements, natural lighting, and spaces that reflected her personal journey. The message was clear: even the smallest everyday actions can become barriers, but with awareness and support, change is possible.
Team Behind the Lens
The project required a delicate balance between storytelling and sensitivity. Our team worked closely with Costa to shape a narrative that respected her history while giving space to emotional expression. Every choice—from wardrobe to location to pacing—was guided by authenticity. Working across creative, cinematography, sound, and medical validation teams ensured we delivered a message both artistically strong and responsible.
Production Highlights
